VitaNova Clinical Trials (“we”, “us”) is a clinical research site located at 1207 N Houston Ave, Suite A, Humble, TX 77338.
Information we collect. We collect information you give us when you inquire about or take part in a research study, including your name, contact details (phone number and email) and appointment information. Health information collected during research is handled under our HIPAA obligations and your signed consent forms.
How we use it. To schedule and manage your study visits, to contact you about your participation, and to meet legal and regulatory requirements.
Text message and email reminders. If you give us your mobile number or email, we may send appointment reminders and scheduling messages. Messages contain only appointment details and links to confirm or request a reschedule. They do not include medical information or study names. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop text messages at any time, or HELP for help. You can also ask our staff to stop reminders.
Sharing. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. We share information only with service providers that help us operate (for example, our messaging provider), under agreements that protect your information. Where required, information collected during research may be disclosed to regulators, IRBs and study sponsors as described in your signed consent form. This does not include text messaging opt-in data or consent, which is never shared with third parties.
Security. We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards, and our service providers are bound by HIPAA business associate agreements where required.
